It depends on a lot of different factors... the soil you're searching, the quality of the equipment you're using, the size of the item in question.

The best anyone can do is give you an estimate based on the tests done in air. Soil is just too full of variables.

yup, you got the answer. There are variables thing underground.try differen setting  or range / sensitivity of the Md's. i'm a beginner too Smiley
