I want to purchase 1 of the following 3 detectors:Eureka Gold Detector;Garrette Infinium LS Gold Detector and
Minelab GPX 4500.
My needs are detection of :gold veins and nuggets to depths of 15M.
                                      Alluvial Gold in rivers and streams.

Hey fduro, John here.

When you say 15M I assume you don't mean 15 meters, right?

I have been looking at those same machines. I believe the GPX4500 is a really great machine, but I think it has water problems. You mentioned rivers, I know for my self when I get around water there is a great chance of me getting wet, I am just as bad if not worse than my hound dog. With that being said I decided on the Garret Infinium LS for just that reason dredging is not out of the question for me so a Advance Pulse Induction machine that is water proof seems right up my alley.
Same thing with the Eureka a great balance of frequency, but its water performance is low.
