Well my title is still intact!!!

A bag full of trash and 0.27 in clad. I guess you could say I'm moving up in the world, as my last trip yielded 0.12 in clad!!!  Wooohooo

Just don't find the kind of trash my wife found today while we were in the vicinity of an old mine.   I didn't mind the live drop rifle bullet, especially since the casing had corroded so badly that the propellant leaked out a long time ago, but when she showed me the pretty little metal tube with the wires attached (AFTER we were back in the truck and well back into civilization), I about flipped.   I don't need to be running around with an old blasting cap.   Needless to say I disposed of that piece of trash just as quickly as I could find a safe place to do so.

Not sure I would find something like that in my area, but bullets are a definite possibility in Texas as we all get guns when we are born!!!  Lol

Well, you're not as likely to find them in Texas (at least outside the Trans-Pecos), but you might find them in some of the old oil field camps or possibly some of the old homesteads, especially in the Hill Country.  Some of those farmers and ranchers were known to resort to dynamite to remove tree stumps and boulders.
