I've been dabbling in the hobby a few times.. but wanna start getting serious on searching more locations (besides permission on private lands) is there any Fla laws I need to know before going out searching other than beach locations

Best suggestion is to make sure you know the ordinances and regulations for the specific city or county you want to hunt in.  Other than going to or calling city hall, the best online source I've found is

.  And if most of your hunting is going to be in parks, start with the Parks and Recreation section of each city's ordinances.  If you're interested in other areas just scan out.
