Go Up Go Down

Now, here's a season-appropriate subject! As many of us around the country and even in the upper half of the globe are experiencing this white stuff we often call snow... It doesn't make it that fun for braving the cold and going MD.

Do many of you MD in the snow? How hard is the ground when you go? I'm guessing if there's more than 2-3" of snow then it's probably not worth going out.. does that sound about right?

Thanks, and I look forward to reading the replies on this.

The cold makes it not worth going out for me!  I don't do well in cold anymore!           Wise

I've only done it once to help a friend find her dropped keys in 8 inches of snow. Fast and easy recovery. She saw me enter the parking lot, knew I was a treasure hunter and asked me for help. As luck would have it, one was in my trunk. Less than a minute later, she was a happy lady. Baked me a cake that night and we shared it in the office the next day.

Mmmmmm . . . who says rewards can't be good!

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
