I'm down in the Deming Area  and that's way North of any of my stomping grounds.

Looks like a good area to be. I suspect you may be close to some meteorite fields there. Not sure what your looking for. Im on the other end of I25 and can't be any help.

Thank you all for responding, I generally look for anything metal in remote areas. I am very cautious though in unknown areas because of legal restrictions not always posted.

Greetings,
Where are you located in Oregon, I'm somewhat familiar with the Medford area, and would like to give you some information about gold location.

Hi, Bill!  I'm about as far across the state of Oregon from Medford as I could get!  I'm in La Grande, right on the edge of the northeastern Oregon gold fields!

Hello
This one has looked at some great pictures of gold out in your 'Neck of the woods' out by La Grande area.  This one is closer to Whites Electronic headquarters area.  Any hardrock stories in the La Grande area?  Anyone have a few tons of rock to sample?  Kiss  Idea
P.M. me if you like.

Greetings ArfieBoy,
When I was a bit younger I use to visit a small area outside Gold Hill Oregon, and would pan and sluice for gold. Things have changed in the area according to a current google map. I just wanted share with anyone the location as most likely  will not be there again. The location is Sardine Creek at the Railroad and Highway under crossing, I use to find flour and some course gold materials there under the bridges.
Just a sharing of gold finds.
Regards
