Hi, I just purchased the Fisher Gold Bug DP and plan on using it on my placer claim in Arizona. Meanwhile, am looking for a companion in the Killeen, TX area that may show me how to use this correctly? I find that it is more enjoyable to learn with a companion. I lost my companion of 36 years, in June, to lung cancer. We never got the chance to finish in life what we had planned on. Now I must continue on. Thanks, if there is someone out there, I am a decent learner. John

John, my deepest condolences for your loss. It takes great courage to carry on. I do hope that someone here comes along with a definitive answer for a club in Killeen.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
