I am fairly new to detecting i picked one up a SE Pro about a month ago and am still getting use to it. I need some good settings, or tips i have been using mostly the factory setting but i feel like i can be getting so much more out of it.... i can find pennies and pull tabs fine, but feel like i am leaving great "juice in the ground"...lol
i live in so cal so mostly beaches or parks... very trashy areas.
thanks

Did you go to Minelab's web page> They have both an owners manual and a forum where program settings for all of their machines are discussed. Your chances of finding another user with your machine are much greater there than here since everyone has different taste in detector brands here.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

"juice in the ground"...   What ta hell is that?

I think ya been watching too many TV shows.

Metal Detectors give you a chance of finding METAL in the Ground.

Some can be set up for other Mineral.

The Juice thing is beyond me.

Please Explain?
