I recently purchased an MPX. I am new to MD (on my own) and am having severe issues with the set up. I am considering sending it back, but before I do, I wanted to give it my best shot. It beeps all of the time (regardless of descrimination or sensitivity). I tried a bench test, it did detect, but when it is in motion it does nothing but make noise. I am not in an area (Shenandoah Valley of VA) that is high in mineral content. Any advice would be great (other than Mine is better than Yours)...I'm sure that's already the case.
