Rohs is a compliance standard indicating that some of the material inside of the item is hazardous. Don't worry about it though. That just means that some of the components have substances like beryllium in them. Nothing you can get to accidentally or even really harmful on the quantity present. But, the compliance is dictated by law.

If you want an answer regarding the machine you are using, you would be better served to provide a model number or manufacturer. Preferably both.

It seems you added the manufacture and model number while I was typing your answer.

What is your specific question?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

This person is one of many who come here to advertise a certain cheap brand of chinese  detector, having deleted many posts by the same user using different names, I believe you are all being conned,

RR.
