Go Up Go Down

Presumptions: Money is not a big factor, would rather have better equipment than better deal.
Location: Mountain to foothill terrain, wooded, with history of gold in very large general area (half a state size).]
Soil Type: Clay, Black Loam, maybe sandy loam but no ocean beaches
Looking For: Underground gold

What would be the best detector? The "I would love that detector but can't spend the money on it" kind? (Nokta, Minelab, Fisher Gold Pro, other)

What detector could cover the most ground (or can be moved the fastest without too big a trade off)?

VLF, Pulse, BFO?

3D mapping worth it?

Best extraction/digging gadget/tool?

Thanks for the help!

If your looking for Small Gold, Like less then a Grain size go with a VLF type like Gold Bug or Stinger type detector.

Nuggets in the larger sizes a PI is good or ya.

3D imagery is just a money sponge.

The Whites MXT and their GMT, and as Homefire the gold bug range and scorpion VLFs
Or Pulse machines like the Whites TDI Pro, Garrett Infinium or the very expensive Minelab SD/GP and GPX series,
but they are only worth it if you have high returns all the time
Seeing as most gold is small you would be better off with a VLF Like the MXT which is the most popular machine
for the job or for tiny gold the Whites GMT, Or the Fisher Gold Bug II but this one thanks a bit of practice and is
not recommended for the novice, I hope this helps
