[idea]Hi all, I am practicing with my equipment, some will probably laugh when you see what I'm using, but ya know I'm finding things, some pennies, brass ring from a old bridle or something. Here's what I'm using"Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX, 79.00 including shipping from ebay,Cen Tech Pinpointer from Harbor Freight, with gift card about 6.00 dollars." Ain't much, but most of what I found was form 2-6 inches deep and having fun doing it Detecting. My point is if your like me with a limited income(early retirement) you can find something inexpensive to work with. Who know if I find some valuable stuff, then maybe I'll upgrade. Hey they got me out there and practicing. Have fun, don't worry, NEVER GIVE UP! Beer Chug

That a way Brad!! It's not the name brand or price paid for the gear, it's the enjoyment you get from it. Happy hunting..

 Hello Brad
Well the way I see it,if someone laughs at you equipment then they have no clue in what MDing is all about.
It's all about YOUR pleasure, getting some exercise and just having fun with it and if you happen to hit the mother load in the process then Great
Hey most of these guys on this forum been at this game longer then I and they know the real deal.
If your happy with you equipment and it's performance then were happy too Smiley
Oh yeah Brad if anyone make wise cracks about you stuff you just send em my way  Club
I wish you luck......
