Go Up Go Down

Round About My digging partner Dan last weekend Treasure hunting deep in the mountains looking for early settlers foundations. Dan is a good digger, part springer spaniel, part blood hound, and i would put him up against a Garret Pointer anyday of the week!

Teach the piles of Rocks were probably collected at the time in the farm fields. They usually made there homes out of what they collected. There were traces of what was left of buildings, cornerstones...ect...  landscape was much different back then, have to look for certain size tree's.

Well it sure looks like a nice place to hunt. What did they farm and were they like nomads or did they stay there on an on going basis what I mean is did they leave when the winter came or did they stay if so there must be graves in the area and I don?t mean by that, that you must dig them up but just find them in order to be able to reconstitute the village. Then you will be able to find lots of things I?m sure that you will find where the black smith was too.

Regards Xavier

these were not nomads, these were PATRIOTS! People that helped washingtons camped soldiers with living needs, from blacksmiths, to food gathers, to clothes. Look at the tree i posted above, and notice the environment that i actually treasure hunt in. It's dense and no walk in the park, but my historical finds do my do my talking at parties. I am a DIE Hard GW HUNTER, i do my homework and investigate encampments of the various "lines" each state sent to washington. I would say, 225 years ago it was all flat farmland probably with very little brush and NOT heavy vegetation as you see behind the tree. This probably developed when they put in the highways and country routes. flooded out these areas. GW HUNTER- OUT!
