New to detecting.  Watch lots of Youtube videos and there are lots of talk of clad vs. silver coins.
My question is - is a silver coin worth more as silver, rather than the face value, or as a collectable because of age?

   These Days most silver coins are worth more then Melt. The mint has not made a Real coin in almost 100 years.
