I use a few different styles of diggers and probes and the such.  It's all preference basically and what suits best for the task at hand.I do like my Lesche though they are some tough stuff.

Tabdog:

Nice looking dogs you got there and really liked the description on the Euro sabre.  Sounds like a good machine and looks like it get excellent depth.

That story is too hard to believe for most folks.

They are just being kind and not saying what they think.

If I read that, it would sound fishy to me.

I almost wish I did not take photos of it. But that hole
was just so big, I felt compeled to take some photos.

Tabdog

Yes, as a matter of fact it is, but I usually keep
a 5.75 inch concentric coil on it.

When the Euro Sabre was sold here, it came with
that 12X10 inch concentric coil.

It was odd because the others were coming out with
the 9X8 in concentric coil. The Silver Sabre uMax had
the 8 inch brown coil with a hole in it.

The 12X10 is subject to masking more, and it is less
sensative to small objects.

I will use it after I have hunted a spot several times.
Then I can get to deep targets with less masking.

Tabdog

Thanks for the message. I need to go see what is happenin.

I thought I said that the Eldorado was replaced with the Vaquero.

Who ever told you the Golden umax was the detector with the
configuration nearest to the Euro model is wrong.

The Golden is a 4 tone detector with a notch feature. The Euro
and Eldorado have neither of those.

The Euro and Eldorado both have manual ground balance. The
Golden does not.

L@@k at these photos.

The Eldorado and the Euro have almost the same controls.

{alt}

{alt}

The Golden looks close, but there is no manual ground balance
and the switch is for notch, which the other two do not have.

{alt}

The Eldorado is almost the same as the Euro Sabre.

Tabdog
