I would have to say the most commonly found non clad coins recovered in america are the Mercury dime and the wheat cent...what would you say?

not counting zinc cents (since they are copper coated or "clad" zinc) ---I'd say copper cents pre 1983 this includes wheat cents pre 59

Wrong!  Nickels show up just about the same place as Pull Tabs.  Gold is just below that.  SAD SAD.

People that depend on TID loosing Pull Tabs walk over them every day.   Thank You!

The Common Copper 95% Zinc 5% pennies are the most common finds over all.

I have to believe it is the copper penny.  In relation to the other coins, the copper pennies far outnumber any other individual coins I have found.   Wise
