Minelab  + old garret

Go Up Go Down

Hello everybody. I am new to this commnunity. I have found an old minelab detector in my father's strorage room. It says minelab on it and it probably 15 years old!!! but it doesn't seem to work...I put new batteries in but nothing happens??? Does anyone have any schematics or any info about them. I am about to disasseble the thing and see what's going on but before I do so, I would prefer to have some info for it.  It has a sensitivity button, a reset swich, no display and an earphone socket.
  thanks

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello everybody. Let me first thank you all for the interest...I tried to take  some pictures of the board but I need a macro fuction and pics are simply fuzzy. Anyway,  I loose power supply connector was the only problem! It works and it seems to be very sensitive. Good for a beginner. CU all.

Funny how folks here are finding coins and jewelry and relics while straton here hits the jackpot and finds a detector! Cheesy  Wish I could find a free detector Cry
