Welcome aboard! Mr.Simpson is right that the Uniprobe Pro is quite good but it is also pretty expensive, exceeding the cost of a Garrett Ace 150 at around USD 200+ . Hence please let us know what your budget is.

Regards,

Christian

I prefer an inline  probe (one that connects to your machine directly) if you can find one for your type of detetor.
I rate the Sun Ray 10 +

Cheers Mike

Just like any detector, it comes down to budget, the conditions you're detecting and personal preference. That being said, the Sun Ray probe, Garrett Pro-pointer, and DetectorPro pistol probes make my top 3 list.

I use the DetectorPro and with fresh batteries, I see 5-6 inches on a nickel and quarter and 3-4 inches on a dime and penny. I like the ability to adjust the threshold and frequency.

Any pinpointer is better than no pinpointer.

Shocked Hurt my back and now I'm extremely frustrated that I can't get out. Have a place were the water has dropped at a resort on the lake and stories of lost jewelry totools and everything you can possibly imagine

Im partial to the Garrett Pro Pointer myself, Im consedering ordering a Sunray, but as the post above says they are kinda expensive. Propointer will run 100.00 or so.

I will put my vote in for the Garret Pro Pointer. Its lite small and tough. I have had mine for almost 2 years now and its great. I mounted the holder right on the arm of my detector. Works great.

Thanks
Todd
