I couldn't have said it any better myself.....
I been there and actually for 2 seasons my detectors never went outside of the house.In that time I did do some research and reading on subjects dealing with MDing in anticipation of getting back active in the field the folling year. and I did
You would be surprised in what you could miss of forget in two seasons time
Like anything new once you start digging up neat stuff you won't want to stop,but then other things come up,weather,health or whatever else that comes up in our lives.
I consider this a test of dedication to the hobby of MDing.If you go back to your detector with interest of actually using it for more then a dust catch then you got the bug.
And who knows ,maybe you'll be detecting for years to come
