Yes here is a good tip, never think that there is nothing till you tried at least once. look for places where there is/has been activity, never pass by a park bench without first having a look under/round it.  Don't ask people for good places to hunt they keep those for themselves, make use of a bit of imagination and you'll soon have loads of places to hunt.

A good place I have found is parks if your just getting started they have lots of coins & trash and depending on if there are a lot of  folks detecting them. A great place I have found is in an area that is having side walks replaced  in an old part of town ,I have found so many  silver coins in these areas  its a time capsule .The thing about this is you have to be quick and be first to get in the sites  and they are only open a short time. Thanks guys. unfortunately in Wisconsin we can't hunt in public areas Cry do you think that would count on beaches too?
