I like my tesoro lobo st but minelab is probably the better detector. Boyd..... Detecting

Anything with a high frequency ... also depending on your budget, best is probably the Minelab GPX-4500 ... next the XP Goldmaxx Power, the Fisher Goldstinger and Lobo Supertraq.

Fisher Goldbug 2 has been a good detector for many, but I think the best gold units are the expensive units made by Minelab...some of them cost over 3 0r 4 thousand bucks, though. I've never been prospecting for gold, but have read many articles and revues about these units and the Minelabs seem to be the top of the line as far as detecting nuggets down deep. These units are PI units and can really get down to business I've heard. I would like to do some prospecting some day myself...GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PROSPECTING!
