I first discovered this when using a high-powered MFD transmitter. Your MFD may not work that well. In a book called "Alive To The Universe" the author talks about stretching his arms straight out sideways he could feel a sensation when he was aligned with N/S or E/W. I know this area out to the sides is very sensitive, like vision out the corner of your eye.

Anyway, I just walk around the transmitter like with a set of L-rods in my hands except i hold my arms straight out to my sides with my hands in a relaxed position so they hang down at the wrists. I call it the scarecrow stance. So when I get aligned over the signal line, I get a slight jolt or twitch. When precisely aligned I can just lean back and forth, I get this twitch at each change of polarity. I can't pinpoint with this technique, but it's very accurate for signal line detection. I close my eyes when I can.

Edit additional:

The question might have crossed your mind, if you get these sensations when aligned N/S or E/W how can you ever use this technique for dowsing? My answer is don't rely on this totally or you are deceiving yourself. With an MFD transmitter you can reposition it so the signal line in not on a N/S or E/W line.

Hi Mike   Smiley

For the sake of clarity, could you please define exactly what a high-powered transmitter is to you? 300....400 watt? 5,000....10,000 watt?

Just a rational observation here....but, a simple frequency generator is not a transmitter.

The question that crosses my mind...is why even bother with the frequency generator? Just use the dowsing rods, and dowse. Why try to embellish dowsing with bogus theories and fraudulent devices?

Just hang up and dowse!

If it didn't work I would not use it. And I really like what IKE said, IF they didn't work EVERYONE would be complaining. And don't forget, you have to learn how to use one. For some reason, some seem to forget that that little insignificant detail.

No idea how many watts. I suppose a guy could hook up an amp meter, it's got about forty volts out the antenna. Maybe I don't know enough about what makes a transmitter, but when I hold an AM radio near it, the tone changes with the different frequencies used--higher frequency, higher tone. So I can't see why anyone would say that is not transmitting. You can pick up reflections off aluminum. I suppose you are going to try and say the radio in not receiving it, either???

I recall a Cathloic Priest said to our class "Some people will swear to me that black is white."

Hi Mike   Smiley

People do complain. You simply dismiss it, because it does not serve your agenda.

There is a huge difference between learning how to do something, and pretending.

"Serve my agenda"? And just what is my agenda? I'll answer it for you since you ain't got a clue. I've said it many times over the last 14 years I've been on the treasure forums. I give my information freely with the hopes that someone will be able to benefit from it and maybe return the favor. I have admitted this is somewhat self-serving but I can't help it if I love to use the LRL equipment and discuss it. Like I said, I had some minimal success with dowsing but once I built an MFD unit I got about ten times better results.

Your agenda is posting outrageous claims, without validation. It appears to be the same pattern you've used over the past 14 years. Post gibberish and then alter that gibberish into "treasure hunting" aid. Eventually, you delete the opening post (on forums that allow such) after enough people confront you and call you a nutcase.
