Hi Cs,
That's quite an offer!
If it's taken up you can predict the results.
It'll be complete failure and you'll be blamed for various crap reasons including it not being a "fair" test.
I'm afraid the only way to stop the scammers is by "education" through boards like this.
We, in the U.K. are to some extent protected.
We have the "Advertising standards authority" who make sure that something advertised for sale does exactly as claimed.
People can be pretty dumb at times, there have even been a few on this thread (who haven't read it properly) who have said they want one of these rubbish devices.
I don't see any other way of stopping the scammers other than common sense advice to prospective purchasers.
Ebay should be getting a massive kick in the butt for allowing the sale of these kind of things, but I don't suppose that'll be happening..
I wonder what the next "LRL" device will be...........

Hey Ram, how do you hold that? Do you insert it......and walk around like a chicken making a gold call. Or attach rubber bands and shot a rock in the air-where it lands is gold? Do you wear shoes when you use it?

Actually though, it looks really neat. Is it a working model? I love the time and thought put into that. I would love to see the looks you get when you pull that out to detect?

I have to admit, I am suspicious of Dowsing. But you have hit on a interesting compromise. If mixing the two, detecting and dowsing, why not do it.

Well it sure looks like it does something. You should post a video if you can. Half a mind to make one like it myself and walk through the park on Sunday just to see the reactions I get.

Nice post, best one I have seen on the subject.

The next generation of scams will be software that will help found buried objects using Google earth. Of course its just more bull but some folks will buy into it. We already have to deal with folks that have claimed to have found the Dutchman, Kidd chest, shipwrecks etc. with GE with some fake software they will come out of the wood work.
BEWARE of anyone who claims to have found a famous treasure and has all the maps and research but needs help getting to it. No legitimate TH is going to troll message boards looking for partners.

Thank you for that post. I'm quite sure he won't take up the offer, because not only is he a slimebag scammer, he is full on nuts as well.
It is good to know that professional photographers with a control test environment, got the same results I have been getting- absolutely none.

The pictures in his "book" can be  explained by natural phenomena such as lens and dust reflections, hotspots from vegetation and lens curvature and outright image manipulation.
In one of his emails to me, he states that it would be "pure folly" to propagate such a fraud. Well David, you're right, only a crazy person would do that for a few bucks. So, as it has been proven that you are doing it, it follows that you are a big old bag of crazy.

If you want to prove otherwise, please do take up this very generous offer - you'll get rich, and save your reputation at the same time!

We are waiting to see what you'll do ...

LOL! I robed that photo from another Forum.

I proved IR is not reactive to Gold in here.

NASA uses it to OBSORBE HEAT FROM IR on face shields on helmets.

Try it your self!

Go Up Go Down

30 Years ago I was working pressure sensitive(tape). I was working on a tape that was made out of crushed rock, baked, skived, and then coated and baked again. This tape had certain propertys, and Im probably not allowed to say what it did. If you were to hold a piece of this tape in your hand today, you would be thinking it was from outerspace. You will not find this tape anywhere. This tape will outlive us all, and Im pretty sure still in use.  [great]This tape was made like most other tapes. Great

Dowsing and finding golds arora by taking a pic depends on the same methods used to find gold. We all approach a site with certian amount of knowledge, where to be looking in the first place. The sucess rate of dowsing and pic taking has to be horribly low. If the average person cannot master the skills needed to dowse in a reasonable amount of time, its not real. This success rate goes for md's too.

I do disagree about a computer program not being able to find gold. But after reading about modern gold prospecting techniques, a detector is only a small part of the puzzle. Also a preprogramed search pattern can up your odds of finding keepers. But a nugget detector is just a more sensitive machine, and probably better software.

Hooking up a Garmin etrex with topos map overlays, on your exepensive detector wont work. The landscape has changed, the rivers have changed. You need a program that knows what to look for, and gives you a percentage of probability. Gold comes in many forms and is extracted in many ways. Plus several other factors like ground minerals and stuff.

The best computer out there right now is the one between the headphones.

If there is any real studys on light or sound waves that could help find gold, please post here.

Huh? Can you expand on this, just a tad?

Shouldn't dowsing and finding golds aura actually work to fit into the equation?
