Thanks for that, Art.  When I saw that photo of an aura from a beer can, I think it was, a few years back, I thought it was a fake but here's one of my own pictures of buried aluminum cans.  It's possible that the halogen? headlights have excited the target to produce a visible aura.

Hey David?..The guy that took the photo is a treasure hunter-NASA engineer. He tried to make it happen again but gave up after many attempts. I believe that this is real way to treasure hunt  and should have some real Scientific Studies done on it?.Art

The guy might have just got lucky the first time.  I have a few correspondents saying it should be possible to excite the target by firing Infra Red at it.  It should be fairly easy for me to test that theory, so I'll do a few experiments.

Best wishes,

David

Dear David, would night vision glasses concept assist in aura detecting or, is it altogether a different technology?  I've tried the digital camera, film conversion, as instructed on our own 'metal graveyard' without success so got to wondering about night vision glasses.  Would like to hear what you have to say with regards to my thoughts.

Hello,

Thanks for your post.  As I managed to obtain very good auras with a digital camera, I haven't explored all other possibilities thoroughly.  I must admit the idea of being able to just look through an optical device and see auras is very appealing.  I did try (human) aura glasses and 'infrared' goggles, both of which failed to produce an aura, although the goggles do produce a useful false color view of the landscape.  Night vision glasses are quite expensive but if you, or anyone else for that matter, already has some then it would be well worth using them to view a known buried metal target and find out whether or not they will show an aura.

David
