Seldom, I have seen that exact post elsewhere. I think he may be a shill for the company.

I can't believe it but I have to agree with you moderators, again! This guy does not know what he is talking about. He says 99% are scams (he never tried them all, no way), but he fails to realize the H3tec is a frequency generator just like every MFD unit. He can't say the MFD's don't work then claim the H3tec does. That's just shooting yourself in the foot. Besides, it takes time to learn any new equipment. He tried it on a visible target--that is hardly a real test. If I owned that company I would make a post saying the truth. I don't think that guy is a shill, not smart enough.

This is the first time I have ever posted anything anywhere.. about the H3  Evedently none of you know who I am..  or none of you would be talking about me with disrespect..

Call the owner of H3 Chris and ask him who I am..  this is a typical forum just like all the others,, who would rather attack the credibility of the poster instead of the subject of the post..

Well I am out of here.. morans..

Hi Randy,

No, I suspect no one here has ever heard of you. I certainly haven't. But I have tried out the H3Tec, did a fair amount of testing and took the thing completely apart for an engineering analysis (I'm an EE). Guess what? It's exactly what it appears to be, nothing but a dowsing rod in a fancy box. The durn thing can't find diddly squat. I even offered the company a $25,000 cash prize if they could successfully demonstrate the device to me in a simple test, but they turned me down flat.

Oh yeah, the owner of the company is "Chuck," not "Chris." Affectionately known as "Chuckie" on some forums. Chuckie is a real hoot, especially when it comes to his legal-threat-emails. We call those "Chuckiegrams."

The H3Tec device is a money-making scam. It has no ability to locate anything but gullible wallets. Do a Google search on "Geotech H3Tec" for more info, including a full report, and a bunch of those wildly entertaining Chuckiegrams.

- Carl

I don't know what difference it makes who you are. You lost all credibility with me when you made the remark that 99% are scams. That's really all I needed to hear. You were caught and your response is name calling. It almost makes me believe this whole thing is phony.

As for the H3tec, I have heard second hand reports that a couple people really like it, but I also heard firsthand someone said they wish they hadn't bought one. I have used enough LRL's to know that manufacturers do not scam people like some would have us believe. Even though the prices on a few LRL's are obscene, the free market system works just fine and I certainly don't want a communist control like some naysayers feel should be imposed on the competition to the metal detector industry. Let's face it, the metal detector industry controls ALL the treasure forums. The forums are beholden to the advertising dollars. That's my politically correct version.

I'm just curious here, Mike. Exactly who are the "naysayers" in this scenario? The ones who have irrefutable evidence this device is a scam... or the ones who pretend to be treasure hunters and support the fraud?

RO I am guessing that Mike is referring to the people screaming fraud and yet niether have a unit, or have participated in any testing or research of thier own. I figure if you plunk down that kind of money for something and you didn't do research you got exactly what you should have. I don't know or care if it works myself, I would never spend that kind of money for any technology. At least not my money Cheesy

I'd go talk to some people like Carl who have seen the guts and see what thier opinion was and why, and then make my own decision.

If this thing doesn't work at all and it's really fraud, then by now there should have been some legal action to shut it down right? There are laws against snake oil.

Mostly I just made this reply so I could click the little box that says don't notify me of replies anymore. I think this horse has been dead, beaten, and decomposed for a year at least, and much better topics to spend time on IMHO.

Grin

IJones, I wouldn't spend any money on that unit either, but I would like to try one out and see for myself. I would never take ANY pseudo-skeptic's biased opinion on ANY LRL. They don't know. I realize they try to convince others that they do, but they don't. Just because one of them opens up the unit and looks inside does not make them an expert on LRL's.  About as far from it as a person can get. If you read my latest post on the thread "Misapplied electronics theory..." you should understand they have no credibility. If there's any fraud it with them. Maybe they learned something, but I doubt it and they would never admit it. "Prostitute the intellect to defend the ego."
