I'm sorry, I was given the impression by the header, and the posts, that this thread was a discussion about Electroscope? No?  I'm sorry I seem to have become sidetracked.   Dell

Dell if Seldom just would give me the names of the members that quit this forum because of me I would be happy . This same modus was used by the TNET so it is not new to me . Seldom never put anything worthwhile on this forum exept for welcoming people and bashing the Philipino's . Like I said many times before , I have nothing against you Dell . And maybe you remember I even protected you on the TNET many a time .  The only thing you should not do , and makes me mad , is using this forum as a free commercial possibility to promote your product . And don't tell me you are not using this forum for that purpose , we all know better . So post your messages and explain about LRL  and other possibilities to detect objects . Nobody will get in your way .   Cornelius

What?Huh?
Cornelius trying to "Kill" this forum?
I think NOT.... more like keeping it alive!
He has a very very valid point! Like me, all he is asking for is answers.
I kind of thought that was what it was all about....
Cornelius has contributed greatly to this forum, he has freely shared information with everyone.
If people don't like his honest opinions that's their problem.
As the guy states, He is Dutch! he may not have the greatest command of written english.
Just remember, if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.
Give the guy a break, and give him a little credit that he justly deserves.
Just my opinion.......

Cornelius. I don't have time to waste replying to these attacks, lies, and inferences against me for whatever reasons  you choose to justify them.

It ceases now, and forever, or add my name to the members that give up and quit.   Dell

I have a little info on the Fieldscope. According to the video on their website, it does not have the discrimination of the other models. It has some type of capacitor at the bottom of the handle that you can use to tune it somewhat. The Fieldmaster feels lighter than a Rossmiller rod mainly due to the way the weight is situated, but I wouldn't say it is lightweight.

The Fieldmaster is not considered a dowsing rod but it takes some skill to operate. If you try to carefully follow it with your eyes, it will not work. You just have to be casual and let it work. What I noticed was when I had the rod in the ready position, I got a hit before I even started to search. This is when I figured out not to force it.

It is my opinion that any rod with a solid handle does not pinpoint all that well. They talk about searching in a six foot radius and if that doesn't produce go to a twelve foot. That's a lot of searching if your technique is not accurate. I took it out to a city park and was not successful on the first few pinpoints. But on another day I went back to one area and used a frequency generator and the Revelation Locator Rod I built and found a small gold plated bracelet within six inches of the pinpoint. So the Fieldscope can get you into the area but it is going to be a lot of work if there's a lot of trash.

Make yourself a pair of L rods from some metal coat hangers. Probably get the same results as the expensive ones.
If anyone has one of these fancy locators in the central Florida area, I would like to try it out.

It's true if you go in with the attitude that it can't possibly work, the negative vibes will overpower the positive ones. In that case "coat hangers are just as good" because nothing times nothing still equals nothing. The naysayers want people to believe it's all a mental thing. That's just not true.

If you understood what I previously posted, the Fieldscope works better than some but I still prefer a frequency generator with the rod I build (RLR). No matter what you use, it takes practice.

I have heard quite a bit of derogatory comments about Electroscope, but I don't think the Fieldscope falls into that category. It took me a few hours to learn it.

I just thought I should clarify something here. I re-read the instructions for the Fieldscope and it says to search a 6-8 foot DIAMETER area at the pinpoint, then move to 12 feet. Of course this is a much smaller area than what I originally said (radius).

I have been working with the Fieldscope and many times the line I get is right on. I still have some times where I can't get perfect results, but my accuracy has been improving. I can even tell somewhat when I am close to the target as the rod holds a tight pattern. It's sort of like learning to use a metal detector: you have to listen to the good sounds. The Fieldscope is the same way: you have to feel the good hits. It's not like you get hits everywhere, but like all rods they are subject to wishful thinking if you are not careful. Like I said, I just relax and don't force things, just let the rod work. Also I ground the tip before every search.
