I would like to request from anybody on the thread who has the experience of Universal Depth Rod or Precision Master Rod being sold by Kellyco. Looks like it works but I have doubts. Hoping for any feedback. Thank you.

If your referring to one of those long range detectors, they are total B/S I have never heard of anyone, ever having any real success with one. If it's a get rich quick business opportunity your looking for I have a bridge in Sydney and one in London for sale. I figure you could put a toll booth at either end and make a fortune. No seriously mate as stated before their is absolutely no scientific evidence to support that they work. I have NEVER seen one with a satisfaction guarantee. and they all use the same excuse not to refund your money, you only bought it because you thought you knew where something was and it turns out that your wrong, or you simply just cant understand how to use it. and they come back with " we don't lend equipment " . I have seen one that was nothing more than a variable capacitor ( volume switch ) with a magnet attached that beeped when the magnet was disturbed ( attracted)  to a metal object. Buy a decent MD and get out there, the exercise will do you great and if you do some research, and go to the right place's you might walk away with a nice chunk of the good stuff.

Those rods are very expensive. If you want a locator that works, check out the MFD (molecular frequency discriminator). I suggest you get an inexpensive one to learn with. Vernell has VR-300 a gold-only model for $285. Yes, you have to learn how to use it, to develop the necessary skills.

You're welcome. I've used lots of equipment including fancy rods. In the end, you still have to learn how to use it. If you can get some instruction you will learn faster. I never had any instruction (or internet) and I know it would be ten times easier and faster if I had. Let me know if you need some help.

Hi Mike...Thanks for your help and information. I was perusing the model VR 800 & 900, looks affordable and the type of LRL I'm looking. Only problem is...not enough information on their website regarding each model. Any information is highly appreciated.  Smiley

The VR 800 & 900 are both fraudulent instruments. The term "MFD (molecular frequency discriminator)" is in itself, a fabricated term used by those scamming the gullible.
