The PDF-1000, like all Vector Trek products, consists of a pair of dowsing rods and a do-nothing box of electronics. The purpose of the electronics is to make you feel good about spending $4600 for a pair of dowsing rods and to give you the illusion that you are now a Big Time Treasure Hunter. But no serious treasure hunter uses this kind of crap, as it has absolutely no ability to locate anything and is just a fraud.
