Hi, I'm Jeef from San Diego.
Thought I'd tell you about a bottle I found a couple of years ago.
I was hiking in the High Mountains near the May Lundy Mine Up around 11,000' and I could see that they had bull dosed an access road up to the mine which had been closed sense the 1920's.
and along the side of the road in a pile of very large rocks plowed back and piled up by the dowser was an old ink bottle tinted light blue and in perfect condition. I was blown away, It had survived many years of use and bad weather, not to mention many avalanches, and a bulldozer, but there it was just sitting there so I collected it and have it to this day.
Cool Ha?
Jeef

It's a rock on the ground, it's a specimen when you take it home.

Jeef,

If you've got pictures, we'd sure like to see them.

BA

btw, I split this off of out4gold's topic since both rightfully deserve their own sets of responses.
