Thanks again Out4gold. I went out yesterday for an hour in my garden w/ my MD and found a piece of horse harness, and a 1949 wheatie, my first detector finds, but I didn't get a chance to visit the old homesite. I'm really starting to enjoy this hobby!

You may want to get some adult diapers you may need it if you find something really nice.
You never know what that next target is going to be.

Out4gold, You might be right about the diapers, lol. I'm getting so many hits in the iron range in my garden area that it will take a month or more to dig them all. So I'm planning to split my time between digging the bottle dump and MD'ing the old homesite and my garden area, if I divide up my time evenly between the three areas I should be able to stay busy all Spring without getting board or discouraged by one area. coindgr, with the price of fuel these days it's gonna take all of Capt. Kidd's burried loot just to fill the tank. Guess I should be lookin' for oil instead of glass. lol
