Hi SS, too bad about all those dorks out there that think it's fun to shoot or smash up kool old bottles. I've cursed them myself many times in the past for their dirty deeds. Are these the same kinds of jerks that steal lawn ornaments, shoot protected songbirds, grab women's purses? It's very unfortunate for those of us who care, that there are quite a number out there, that haven't got a clue about much of anything and have to get their jollies by doing destructive deeds to make at least some kind of a little blip on their boring, flat-line lives. >:(LarryB

Sitting here nodding in agreement as I read your reply. I save the bottoms anyway, thinking that some day I'll use them for some stepping stones. Set them in a mold and pour concrete over them.  Sue

Sweet Sue, do you have any Cool Cobalts?

Blue Sky malt liquor is about it. Too many people have enjoyed target practice around here so I only find pieces. Sue

Ain't that the truth. I found many  old whiskey bottles out west but they were all set up on rocks for nothing but shooting. That's a shame since these were really old bottles and probably worth a little $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

'Hi folks, I was just wondering if there are any Cobalt glass lovers out there?'

Larry; The wife and I have been collecting cobalt blue glass for about 26 years. I don't have any pics right now, but as time permits I'll try to take a few and will post them here.

You're welcome Larry.  No...I have no cobalt but they do look very nice I think.  Someday maybe I'll run across some myself.

I was in the kitchen today and remembered this post about the blue glass. I'll try to get something together. Broke a nice piece last week. Sad

That's a bummer about a piece getting broke last week.  Can't wait to see what you put together for us.

That's a real shame to hear about one of your finds breaking on you like that Doc.  At least you weren't cut though.  Better luck cleaning the next one.
