Ronnieros, That's a nice cookie jar that you dug up - really neat find! Great that it's intact - good recovery job. Thanks for sharing the picture. Sue

Thats a good idea to take a picture of everything. I've been looking at the gold finds. Have a few gems in there, too?

Congrats on your find, Ronnieros. That piece would look good in a nice display cabinet. If it can be authenticated by a credible specialist in Chinese porcelain, the value of the piece could be immense.

I do not want to detract from your find in any way, but I have to state that in Zamboanga city's 2 areas which the locals term as "barter trade centers", there is much newly-made porcelain, and that design in the photo titled "hunting.jpg" looks very familiar. I guess that classic designs never fade away. Once again, I urge you to get that piece authenticated.

hobbyist i mean culture and arts division of the national museum of the philippines.i know also the zamboanga is a barter trade because im a filipino.you would know the item is authentic becuase of the difformitis of the object it means its not perfect not like most pottery or porcelains. each one is unique no replicas found.
