Go Up Go Down

My dad an i have always been explorers of anywhere we go.  last night at his house he pulled out a small ceramic bottle that he had found when he was a cop.  one night a fully naked lady showed up around where my dad and his partner was saying she had been raped and her boyfriend had been murdered and burried next to a small shack at a pig farm.  my dad and others took her in and went to investigat and a full scale investigation had been initiated.

They dug around at the pig farm and while digging my dad found this little porcline jar, about three or four inches tall and rounded slightly like a vase with a plug opening for a cork at the top.  it also has a small eyelit towards the top as if to be worn like a necklace around the neck or to have a laniard of some sort.  i will post pictures when i can get some.

Someone told my dad that they believed it to be an old chinese opium bottle fromt he early opium dens that they used to have.  long story short, the a criminal who had already been sentenced to life in prison told the feds where to find some of his bodies, and four of them were found at a seperate pig farm miles and miles away, and i believe only two of the four were identified.  My dad still has the small jug/jar.  Does anyon know of old chinese opium jars or has a link to see pictures of them?

toleary34, if you do a google search for images of opium jars, you'll find they came in a wide range of shapes and sizes.

They tend to be made of either ivory or more commonly ceramics. Obviously we sell them as collectable ornaments only!
