Garrett's and Bouny Hunters

I own a Technetics Delta 4000 and a Gamma 6000. I really enjoy the Gamma 6000,but I needed a backup detector similar to the Gamma.
I see that it's made by the same factory and is very similar to the Gamma. The only difference is the price that is about $200 less. I guess some folks think that BH is a cheap detector.
I have used many BH detectors and they have really hit on those coins and ring.
I tried to get one on some sites, but there weren't any new ones.
I then found out that only a couple of companies sold them. They bought the whole production line and are the only ones that sell them. The company I got it from is very customer friendly and helpful.
I can hardly wait to use it ,but it is raining due to Hurricane Patricia.
I have a buddy that has one and he asked me to verify a target he got. My Gamma would not recognize it. I then decided that the Platinum was the one I was going to get as a backup or even replacement for the Gamma.
 HH Arturo

I have owned and used many different brands and models of detectors, including about 7 or 8 Tesoro detectors and I always thought that Bounty Hunter detectors were just cheap beginner's junk. Then I bought a couple BH detectors and to my surprise, they were actually able to find items in trash-strewn areas quite well. My favorite BH detector that I used to own (Circuit board burnt up when I had it in trunk of my car as I was in water doing some water hunting away from home with my Sand Shark)was a Pioneer 202. It had a good and accurate meter on it and though it wasn't nearly the deepest searching detector I've ever owned and used, it was pretty decent down to about 5 inches or so, and the oldest coins I've ever found with any detector hardly ever was much deeper than that depth. So, yes, I'd say a BH detector is really okay for the bucks paid to purchase one.

If you have a hobby lobby near by then use their 40% off coupon to purchase a bounty hunter from them.

40% off is a lot of money.  The Bounty Hunter Platinum is a very good Metal Detector with great reviews !!  We have a hobby lobby 10 miles from me , so I will check them out now, since they sell Metal detectors. Never been to one yet. thanks Karl !!

I always was thinking Bounty Hunters were good starter detectors.   Bitburg gave me a LS Camo.    It sang out on a 14K gold Backing for a Stud earing at 8" in sand.   I was impressed sense the freq is so low.   Still looking for a 100K pot with On/Off switch.   Just takes time.
