I have found more rings with a BH than any other detector in my 46 yrs of detecting.  I've used and have some high priced detectors and most do not see chains and small gold items or have see-thru ability> U have to test before u   buy a newer detector for see thru ability as most detectors if u get trash or a nail close to a coin then the coin is muted and u lost out.   shortribs

Amen to that, BH machines are some of the fastest recovering machines on the market

I have used the Discovery series detectors from Radio Shack. They are BH detectors.
The only site that I know sells the platinum is Metaldetectors.com.
