G Day Johnnn, glad to help mate, you right because those flat Buttons with the 3 cannons on you have there they say should
be made of Pewter or Gilt plated and the version from after the early 1900s were a 3 piece design and the front was pressed out
and so was the back and they added the wire loop to the back and then crimped the front to it, the first world war type had a
round bomb on it with flames coming out looking more like a round Vase with flowers spreading out of the top,
