South of Noorwood, severl miles, maybe close to Dot Mill is a huge hill. There is a humongus rock on the side of the hill surrounded by a grass field. It looks like a good place to search with a good detector. Anyone know about it?

Sounds like a nice place to picnic in days gone by, plus a land mark like that could have been a regular camping stop. Is there any water around creeks ponds Huh? As BA said a few pictures would help.

I have pictures buried in box in garage. It is close to a trout stream. I'll try to remember more. Seemed like a good place for the James brothers to me. A relative in KC, MO told me a James cache was found in KC several years ago. A huge cache.

every cache ever found in certain parts of the country has two things in common 1) it was a James/Daltons/KGC cache and 2) it was huge  Cool

Not saying you're relative was mistaken---just telling you how things are in general.

there is one sure way to verify this site as a treasure sight....look for carved signs on the trees in the area of the stream.

My cousin, who is now disceased, pointed it out to me. I might could find it again. It is about the size of 10 semi-trucks piled together.
