I am a new member and just watch the history channels doc on Jesse James and saw other post about this subject. I live in central Missouri and there are several stories of Jesse James having spent much time in this area it is very close to the old Nute Crow farm who was said to be friends with Jesse and my inlaws grew up on a farm next to Nutes and actually found a revolver hidden in the wall of the house when they tore the house down. I would like to know if anyone knows how to contact Ron Pastore I have seen the same double J hook he shows in the doc. It was many years ago on a rock formation like a double gate in the middle of the woods very near Nutes farm. or maybe someone has heard other mentions of this.

As many people seem to have research Jesse James past I thought this might seem interesting or someone may have heard of something in this area if you ever saw this rock formation you would not forget it it is totaly out of place it set in the middle of the woods on top of a hill with no other bluffs or creeks around it stands about 10 feet tall and 50 yards long on each side with the old road passing thru the center like a natural gate way almost spooky. the property was government owned for many years but is now in private hands I would like to go back there and research it better it has been nearly 20 years since I was there last but much of this property was bought by out of state investors and I have had trouble locating the new owners
