Steve and Sue and Toolbox,
Be patient for a little bit as I am trying to finish my Ebook. Treasure Tales- Fact or Fiction, A Guide To Research. I relate some popular lost mine stories of Arizona, and show how with modern technology, we can pick out the truth. Christian has agreed to help me get this book up on THunting.
Bill

Sue,
That is the roughess country I have ever been in. Between the bears and dodging the deer hunters, we did not get in much searching. We need to go there and spend a week. For those of you who are curious as to what Sue is refering. The pic follows.

Well rough terrain is a good sign - all the more reason that it would be promising, I'd think. I was just joking about big guns, but with bears guarding the area . . . hmm, Sue

That size meant to be seen from a good distance would be important. Crossroads? This place? Good luck on your endeavor. Shadow

Hey Goldminer,

Fact or fiction, huh?  I find it facinating how people go off half cocked after reading a 'treasure' story; no common sense, no personal research, just start your motor and go.

I was raised in Camp Verde, AZ. My Dad and I spent weeks (many) in the Superstitions following the herd. That was in the fifties....before I learned better. Shocked I'm curious what your...research has told you about the 'Dutchman's' gold.

Thanks, Bud
