More specifics please. What are you asking about? Do you somehow think we can read your mind?

If I could do that, I'd be reading the minds of all the people in this world who buried money.

Forget it, I'll just ask my friend.  They'll reply with all I need and I'll keep it to myself.

dinger you way out of line. A question with no brand name no model number no information at all is going to get questioned. Its like asking have you checked out your on on/off switch. GD used a little humor to make light of it so be it we all have to do the same thing or go nuts. You have no clue how many 4 word questions we get everyday. Is this a map? Is this a coin? Is this old?  All we can do is ask questions so we can help if that upsets you, I am sorry. Try Google.

That's the perfect attitude that explains precisely why you got the reply you did. If you don't want to provide more information as to what you are asking about, you will get no answers from anyone. We really cannot read your mind, mate.

So tell me. Do you know what an LTD is? In my day, it was a Ford motorcar. In the context of cache modes, I don't believe Ford ever put one of those in that model.

The LTD cache mode I believe he is asking about is on the Tek T2 LTD detector. it has a cache mode and plowed field mode (pf). The cache mode pops the sensitivity up about 20% or maybe more, I believe its only in all metal mode.Basicly you can hear some bullets or coins in the ground while holding the head about 10 in or so above the ground such as in a corn stalk field,The Fisher F75 LTD doesnt have this method on it. Just when you turn up the disc. on it then the sensitivity comes up with the disc. thats the way they made it.Had both detectors and guess that was what he was asking.  maybe he was into looking for a cache and needed to know what the power was in the cache mode?  jmho  thanks

Thanks for the reply.
I also learned the cache mode can identify bottle caps really well.
