How many coins are considered a 'cache'?

Wow, just to find an authentic map about a cache would be awesome.  Sure adds the extra excitement to the quest!  I'm almost more curious as to how the map was found than as to how lucrative the find.  Probably much work involved in both. Clapp

Congratulations Sparky, if I had found that kind of cache, I wouldn't be able to contain myself. My most fortunate find that I have considered to be a cache was where I had got a tone....doug up a V-nickle, 3 Indian Heads, and a liberty quarter all within a foot. I supposed someone lost it from a purse, pocket, or just dropped it way back then.

Awsome finds, what fun!

The term cache refers to an item or items secreted in a location for retrieval at a later date. So technically even 1 coin can be a cache if it was purposely hidden say in a mason jar or some type of container or vault.

How about south of Murphysboro around Cobden? Or up on rt 3 near Chester near Colvis's or Gross's orchards?

Great area, I used to hunt for arrow heads in that area years ago, my brother still lives back there and is a big Indian artifact hunter, he has a very large inventory and very rare pieces that are in musems.
