Since I read these articles almost everyday , I will post the best articles and links about hidden buried gold or coins/treasures that have never been found , from all over the United States . Some are from a hundred or so years ago !! I think most "Lost Treasure's" still exist and have not been found because the locations given were not accurate !!!  The first are a collection of stories / locations right here in Nevada

Here is a link , "state by State" of Hidden Treasure / Stolen Loot never recovered and some articles give you a pretty good idea of a general location . The best website so-far !!!

Hello oldguy and welcome to thunting.com !!!! Never be afraid , lots of places to go Metal Detecting !!!
1. School Playgrounds during summer vacation .
2. Public Beaches , most allow metal detectors and hunting after a big major storm can be very rewarding !!
3. old churches
4. Old Barns or Farms with owners permission
5. Public Parks in your local city , most allow Metal Detectors
6. State Parks , some may require a permit for a small fee . Check at the parks office or Ranger Station .
7. If you have a friend or relative that lives in a very old house , ask permission and sweep his property Especially under wooden fences and Old Trees . Especially under old trees , people had picnics there in the old days !!!
8. Any "old house" is very tempting , but please ask permission . You can type up a brief document and even offer a small % or cut . I have done that and the owners even came outside and got very excited about what I was doing.
9. Under old wooden bridges
10. Foothills or mountain regions close to where gold was found at one time . Always check first to see if it is Government "BLM" land or Private property !!
11. Rivers or Streams !! Do not fully submerge your metal detector if it not waterproof . Most are waterproof up to below the housing and below the connector !! And I know there is more , but thats all for now. .....................Best Regards...................Eugene52
