I remember the fishing expiditions by the army in the 60s.  I believe that the Huachuca Canyon story was wrong.  I believe that Jones and others found their gold in the upper area of Garden Canyon.  I remember seeing Spanish mission ruins there and finding high grade silver in some tailings.

Hi and welcome, Consider This. I redirected your post from new user over to here.

Rich started a post called Fort Huachuca gold Bob Jones, down below, so I didn't want your first hand report to go unnoticed as there is quite a bit of interest on the subject.

Neat that you found some high grade silver in tailings ponds.
