BUMP

I have found ONE on BLM land near the Santa Margarita Ecological Preserve in Temecula(De Luz - Fallbrook side). It is rugged terrain and I have not been able to find the 'fall arc' yet to recover any others. It was my first meteorite find though and it happened on my very first hunt for them. What luck eh? Within a month I found my first green beryl in quartz, a nice size(larger than US quarter) rose quartz(crystalline, not rocky like the usual rose around here) and that meteorite. Suffice it to say, I am hooked! This was all within the last few weeks/month. Cheesy

Cool, I saw one fall in Carlsbad. It was about 9:30 at night and I saw a large meteor com in from the east to the west, I watched as the tail fizzled out but the Stone continued to glow an orange red as it continued across the sky, It flew over me and landed into the ocean, I was walking on the beach at the time.
