I used a DR Trimer.  I just replaced the cutter head with a 90Amp altinator and set a battery between the Alitinator and Engine..

They cost $700.oo new but can be had for like $40.00 used.

Little room taken and just need the Gas.  Clean, Quick Power.   Mine will Jump Start a Flat Butt Battery in a car in less then a few minutes.    Mine only has a half Gal Tank but will run for two hours no problems if you don't load it to the max.    I added a larger exhost to shush it up some.  With a 50Ft Extension cord you don't even hear it much.  You Can Well You May be able to get your Kid to back pack it to the Dry Wash Area your working .  My Kid would just say Ya Right.

Wish I had it when I had my Jon Boat and Minkoda motors.  I had to lug my battery to the Truck to charge and I could had even put that in the boat.
