One of my favorite Canadian bands from the 80s is Chilliwack. Their name is a native term for 'where the rivers meet', if I'm not mistaken. A confluence may be a good place to pan! Wink

Hi Goldmember
There are literally hundreds of places in BC to go gold Panning. The BC government has set aside sanctioned places for panning and there are numerous business doing it privately.
Where abouts in BC are you planning on spending time? When are you coming over?
Here is a link that will give you some more info:

Was in BC last year and did some panning in Hope. Had good luck there.
