I didn't realize that JP did a bailout back then, interesting to hear that. Have you seen many early silver halves being dug or found in the states? I have heard of some in the Kingston Ontario area that have been found along the lakeshores. Back around 1812 protecting the north shores from invasion apparently many a coin had been dropped or fell out of pocket. i was thinking of checking some of the shoreline, after all ya never know eh lol. Ty for replies so far. Cheers.
