Those kinds of finds are truly impressive to a "New World" guy like me.  I made a thread named "YIPPPIIEEE!!!" when I broke into the 19th century with an 1858 half dime.  That kind of coin is almost unreal to me when I am hunting.

I am going to have to take a few trips to hunt that "Old" land before I am all said and done.  These days,  I am happy with land that has not been developed since before 1960 so that I have a chance at U.S. silver coins.  I have never noticed before how quickly p[-eople around here are building up- the land.  Flooding is common in Southern Louisiana and everyone who is building is either elevating their home4s or bringing dirt in and raising the land much too high to detect through.

Truly impressive finds Stabber!!  You are one lucky dog!

Thanx RR.  You can bet that I will.  Maybe I will get a lucky find around here soon and show up at an airport near you with some brand new detecting toys?

That's as good a reason as any to keep detecting hard! Smiley
