Thanks for that Alan, I shall look in to that , Got lots of geo trips in the south of England in the comeing months.
Will also pick the brains of my geo groups---see if we can throw some light on the subject.

Hi Stan,
heres more proof of a comet hit in Britain.  I should tell you that Alan Wilson contacted the author about the misdating in this case and was told he had dated it to conincide with the Battle of Camlan which took place in AD 562 and not AD 535 as was written in the article.  Once that had been established the author he understood the problem of misdating because Alan Wilson is the worlds leading authority on Arthurian matters.  It also explains in a way that following the Comet strike where nothing lived or grew in Britain for a period of between 7 to 11 years why the term the dark age was used. This over time has been exagerated on and added to by anti-British opponents.

alan try telling that to all our ginger haired scots welsh and irish descendants and a sprinkling of english,, iv'e never seen a ginger israely or mediteraenean on any of my visits abroad so that strain of hair and fair skin must have been home grown, look forward to your reply ,, thorin
