Not having seen many fibuli, I would not have guessed it, unlike the Roman types.
Interesting metal work, I wonder what kinds of tools they had to work the bronze with, you didnt happen to find any files??
Some of the early smithy tools were rock anvils, if they had enough ingrained metal, would they show up with a locator.
